One of New York’s oldest nightclubs, Marquee NYC is one of the most consistent dance clubs in the nation. Opening back in 2003, Marquee NYC’s calendar has been full of some of most innovative club events & live music artists NYC nightlife has ever seen. Understand the typical nightclub lifespan (by Chicago standards) is 3 – 5 years, in New York it’s about 18 months. Back in 2010, Marquee Nightclub New York was one of the top 4 grossing clubs in the city. By 2012, Marquee Club NYC was still on that list and all the other clubs (Lotus, Pressure, Home, and Plumm) on that list were already closed. Where those clubs couldn’t adapt with the times, Marquee NYC has continued to stay ahead of trends & continue to impress New York’s biggest bottle service clients with hospitality.
Being one of the only open dance floor nightclubs in a jam-packed NY full of tiny boutique clubs, Marquee NY is able to bring in bigger named resident DJs like DJ Chuckie and other guest DJs such as Skrillex, Afrojack, Morgan Page, and Laidback Luke just to name a few. Dabbling into hip hop on Marquee Wednesdays & Fridays here and there, Marquee tries to keep it diverse even though they focus on EDM.
Going for the bigger name talent, Marquee attracts a somewhat younger trendy crowd, but their strict front door and expensive cover charge keeps it elevated for our older more profile bottle service clientele. While mostly upscale, Marquee NYC dress code varies as this club heavily appeals to New York’s fashion scene. That being said, even though this venue is more accepting when it comes to attire, we still don’t recommend showing up in the latest hipster steez. Unless you know the head honchos and are secure in your position on Marquee NYC’s guestlist, don’t expect to get any love at the door.
As with all New York nightclubs, Marquee NYC bottle service prices are high with Grey Goose bottles starting at $500+. Honestly though, If you want to ball out in the big apple; unfortunately, you have to pay to play. As always however, we always promise to get you the best table seating minimums available at the best possible locations!
