In recent news, rapper and new age hip hop artist Young Thug teased his next project, EBBTG (Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls), on his Twitter last week; to be executive produced by none other than Drake. While this comes as a HUGE surprise, we do hope this drives both artists back to Chicago as we haven't seen Drake since his Lollapalooza Prysm Chicago appearance (Studio Paris, The Underground, and Shay Nightclub all had equally crazy weekends) and we haven't heard much about Young Thug in the city since bailing on his would-be performance at Chance's Magnificent Coloring Day. Supposedly a singing album, the rapper didn't mention a release date in his strand of tweets; however, knowing the constant pressure of releasing content these artists feel, we feel we'll see this hit shelves sooner rather than later.

Here at Bread N Butter we've got mixed feelings about this collaboration. Some of us hate the mumble rap movement and quickly move to turn off the radio when it hits the airwaves while some of us love the diversity it brings to the industry & find it refreshing. Either way, whether we love this new age coming of sound or not, we can all agree on one thing: IF this album is a singing different can it be from Young Thug's other already-bizarre music?

Wasn't he trying to do a lot of singing before? Wasn't the album Jeffrey full of attempts at crooning/belting?

What DO YOU, the fan, think about this potential collaboration?

Will this next album be a hit or brick?
