Staying in line with their new direction, Studio Paris Chicago is going to be litty this weekend: They've got B.O.B. on Saturday & Chance the Rapper's birthday on Sunday! Obviously, before we continue, if you or anyone you know needs the plug on bottle service there, The Underground Chicago, or have any general questions about our nightclub partner Prysm Chicago ...just hit the line. We are one call/email/text away. On that note, let's dive into these artists and their respective Chicago concerts.
More recently in the news for believing the world is flat rather than his music, famed singer, songwriter, rapper B.O.B is set to do a last minute appearance and, admittedly, we are more intrigued than we we are excited. Last time I saw B.O.B. live I was extremely disappointed. It was 2014-2015 at the House of Blues. Instead of seeing him, he simply played 2 of his mainstream songs and his "artists" took the stage the rest of the time. Most of the venue emptied out after 30 minutes...Since then, all signs are pointing to B.O.B. seeing 2017 as hunting season which gives us hope for tomorrow's Studio Paris performance. We think things will be different in a "best of" Chicago nightclub environment.
Although heavily hyped since 2007 with chart topping songs "Haterz Everywhere," "Nothin on You," and "Airplanes;" he's only gone gold once and still has a lot to proof. That being said, someone blessed with so many different musical talents is hard to ignore; so, again we are intrigued to see what he has in store.
Moving to Sunday, again, we have Chance's birthday at Studio Paris Chicago! With such a last minute announcement coming in this week and with it being Easter on Sunday, it'll be interesting to see how quickly the word will travel and then manifest into tickets sold. BEFORE you jump down our throats, we aren't hating or saying we think it'll be dead. We just believe this bottle service adventure has a chance to be one of the more intimate sets you'll see this year from post-Grammy Chance the Rapper. With all the proceeds going to his Social Works Charity - which aims to empower youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement while fostering leadership, accessibility, and positivity within the youth throughout Chicago - it'll be hard not to pull up on Sunday no matter what time you have to be up in the AM.
All that said, once again, if you need the plug, just let us know. We'd be happy to help.
Oh...and PS: Stay tuned here for an announcement of our own last minute Studio Paris extravaganza...coming early next month...
